The 2 Cents
Combat Sports Premier Grappling Shin-Instep Guards are excellent for both MMA and kickboxing sparring. I needed to try guards that are not the full sleeve in the back because taking them off after a session of sparring probably could have one of the more frsutrating things I have ever experienced. The guards have two great velcro hook n loop closures that nicely hug your leg. This also provides some great ventilation for your legs so you aren’t having your leg suffocated during sparring. I highly recommend these guards because they are also lighter in weight than those that have full sleeves because they are much lighter in weight. The amount of protection is the same and you can practically forget you even wearing them once you get the blood flowing. They aren’t cheap but when it comes to protection gear you truly get what you pay for. Two thumbs up and no shin bruises say these are a must in your MMA gym bag.
